We are looking for a Kubernetes Engineer to join our team in the Netherlands. You will play a crucial role in developing solutions for enterprises in an open source environment. You are the ideal candidate if you enjoy orchestrating cutting-edge solutions, revolutionizing infrastructure, guiding customers through the intricacies of container orchestration, and optimizing their infrastructure for peak performance.

Spearhead automation initiatives for deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows using tools such as Helm, Jenkins, and GitLab CI, streamlining development processes

Educate customer teams on Kubernetes concepts, imparting hands-on training and facilitating knowledge transfer to empower internal teams and customers and work together with Software vendors

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including troubleshooting guides, best practices, and knowledge base articles to empower users and support continuous improvement

Design, implement, and optimize Kubernetes-based solutions, ensuring containerized applications' scalability, reliability, and performance

Enforce best practices for securing Kubernetes environments, proactively identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities through robust access controls and network policies

Lead the implementation of Kubernetes solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and applications

Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing expertise on Kubernetes best practices, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing workflows for seamless application deployment

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and infrastructure teams, to diagnose and resolve issues and enhance overall system performance

Identify opportunities for automation and implement them with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible and Salt

Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments
Experience with writing Architectural design documents
Proficiency in automation tools like ArgoCD, Flux, and Gitflow for building CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery and development
Strong background in ensuring security measures within Kubernetes deployments
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Proven experience as a Kubernetes specialist, with a track record of successful implementations in diverse environments
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Solid Linux experience, the terminal does not hold many secrets for you
Experience with immutable operating systems like Talos, Flatcar, and CoreOS
Strong networking skills about CNI’s , like Linux networking, OVN, Cilium, Calico and other cloud networking technologies
Strong Storage experience, about CSI’s like Ceph Storage, ROOK, S3 and other Storage solution technologies.
Experience with at least one flavor of automation tooling, for example Helm or Ansible
You are fluent in English
